Definitely a big NO. Lash extensions that are carefully applied according to your natural lashes & using safe products does not damage your natural lashes. 

What causes lash damage is poor application, uneven weight ratio of extension to natural lash, stickies from excess glue and also cheap glue that will eat at your natural lashes. Lashes extensions that are too long in ratio to your natural lashes also caused lash damage. Aftercare and not getting refills done in time can also play a part in any damage by pulling on the natural lash.

You might be a little anxious about all he different types of lashes available on our menu and which one should you book in. On average we say have a look at our images and what style you are most drawn to & feel free to ask us what that lash type is. 

Below is some info on our three most popular sets but we have more. 

Our CLASSIC EURO LASHES are more on the natural side with 1:1 application, they create a unique mascara look for everyday wear without the makuep. If you have a decent amount of natural lashes this set is very pretty if you are after a mascara look. 

THIS SET IS NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU HAVE SPARSE NATURAL LASHES OR MANY GAPS IN YOUR LASH LINE. 

LIGHT VOLUME ( RUSSIAN VOLUME) EXTENSIONS.  

Another option for either full or sparse natural lashes ( sparse being if you believe your lash line has many gaps ) is light volume. Our volume is handmade, completely lightweight and can be customised to suit your needs. This set also looks lovely on all age groups & is great to create a whispie look thats all the rave and in mature ladies with fair complexion I find these suit best.

MEGA VOLUME EXTENSIONS 

We then have the ultra glam lashes that are the handmade MEGA volume , our most popular set and these are the full and fluffy kind often referred to as the darker look lashes, again they suit a wide range of age groups that want their lashes to be glam and noticeable whilst still being light weight. All our volume lashes are handmade during your session & NOT made in a factory & double dipped in  glue ( which causes heaviness) 

Yes you can given you don't have an allergy. Our glue is of the highest quality and formulated for sensitive clients with 99.9% of our clients feel no stinging or sensitivity. 

if you are very sensitive we can apply our magic cream to your lids pre applications to trap glue fumes that sit on the skin.  ( glue never touches your skin) 

Our glue works its magic by creating long lasting lashes on 95% of our clients  - however the number one thing we here from new, first time clients is that their previous lashes were not lasting. Below is a list of things that can be a reason.

You possibly could of shown up to your session with eye makeup that disrupted the glue - ( please don't wear makeup to your lash sessions and avoud eye makeup for a good 48 hours prior to ensure the glue attaches well to your natural lash )

Other reasons for excess lash loss: 

Your extension were old ( glue only lasts about 6 weeks therefore refills are recommended every 3 weeks. however even then at times you might need a fresh set. 

Your natural lashes/ extensions grew out fast or you have a fast growing lash cycle 

Wearing excess oil based makeup & 

lifestyle- beach, pools, gym, sweat which can deteriorate the glue a bit faster.  

Lash shedding season - This happens a few times a year when your natural lashes grow and shed faster. Usually I'm Autumn & summer. 

First of all I am sorry to hear that and understand how frustrating it can be. The answer is yes you can book a patch test keeping in mind a patch test is were we apply only a few lashes to the outer corners of both eyes to check for an allergy and this is only 80% effective in picking up an allergy. 

With that said some reactions are to either specific ingredients used elsewhere or improper application. If you are willing to try our sensitive glue application we can also use our magic cream applied onto your eyelid to prevent any glue fumes from sitting on your skin until you are able to cleanse. 

YES,,,, We sure do and we are so proud to have invented it some years back. if you have an event and are still wanting fluffy handmade lashes we have a set for you that will last on average of 1 week with extra care. This set does not use lash extension glue / adhesive.  Please TEXT me to book this option 

In that case I recommend either classic lash extensions ( see info on classic lashes above ) or a lash lift. 

A lash lift is recommended if you have no time for maintaining extensions. Lash lifts last for 5-10 weeks depending on how fast your natural lashes grow. A lash lift is your natural lashes lifted and best suited on medium to long natural lashes.   * Chlorine & lash growth  can deteriorate the lift

Once you get the hang of it you will easily add the maintenance to your routine. 

Classic lashes : Cleanse with lash extension cleanser every 2-3 days ( or after a day of makeup or sweat) and pat dry with a microfibre towel before giving them a nice combination through with your lash wand. 

Volume lashes: Cleanse with lash extension cleanser foam every 2 - 3 days or after a day of sweat or makeup-  however after a quick pat dry we recommend you dry your extensions with a hand fan or with your hair dryer ( on a cool setting ) whilst also brushing the extensions at the same time with you lash brush. this makes your lashes super fluffy again. 

LASH REFILLS

BESIDES the above, to care for your lashes you will need to book in your lash refills for upkeep. Usually we refill lashes every 3 weeks. Lashes that are 5 plus weeks old will be a new set.
